Art For Your Walls, Decor For Your Home: December 2012

For me the Christmas tree is the symbol of Christmas.

This year I continued the Green and silver theme from my mantel decor, and added the turquoise to it.

It’s the first year I used the wire mesh, but I think I did a pretty good job for a beginner.
It was a challenge to find the silver decor mesh here in western Canada( there were just few colors to choose from, and the mesh was not very shimmery, so I had to work with whatever was available – wink, wink – retailers keep this in mind!!)

I used green and turquoise glass ornaments

small decorative silver berry branches, glitter green poinsettias, sparkling twig picks and floral spray branches.

I found them at Jo-Ann store in Bellingham. They were 50% off, and waaay cheaper that Michaels in Canada( sorry, Michaels!)

I kinda love our tree this year: it’s all glowy and shimmery, and…it says: “It’s Christmas time!!”
